My Mihi

This week my class,class 10 have been doing Mihi and when  we are finished we post it on  our blog so here it is.

Menus in Aotearoa and Malawi

   









































These are three things that compare the two Menus

1. Aotearoa has more food then Malawi.

2. Things in Aotearoa the price is more then Malawi.

3.  The two menus have nothing in common

The Boat Race

If I was in the race I would make a speed boat because if I did then I would of won it because my boat is really fast and speedy.

How Buoyancy was found

A long time ago in Syracuse,Ancient greece there was a great mathematician named Archimedes'. One when he was taking a bath he discovered something life changing. When he got in some water got displaced it overfloat in the bath tub.

Archimedes’ discovery got him thinking. He was so excited that he ran through the streets without any clothes on saying Eureka!! Eureka!!. This meant I have found it in greek.

He figured out that if you put something in water and it is lighter than the amount of water being displaced,the object will float. This is known as Buoyancy or Archimedes principle. So if object can float,it is Buoyant.

We have been reading about a boy who lives in Qui Nhon.  His father is a fisherman and they own a basket boat called a thung chai.

A thung chai can be used for
-fishing boat
-paddle boat
-chill out time
