The class was called to the mat and our teacher said that we were, “going to the Zoo”! Everyone was excited until we saw on our class site that we were just going to visit the San Diego Zoo website. I was very very very very…  disappointed.

In writing we have been learning like writing two introductions and marking one. This one my friend marked and I thought that I would put in the first one I wrote on my blog. Comment to say if you agree with Rima or not.

Room 6 Fear Factor

Today was a normal day in writing, until Mr Goodwin did something weird and crazy. He only does this some days but I think this is the day someone just might vomit. Sorry I forgot to say what our teacher was doing, he was making a Fear Factor for our class!

1. Introduction	Orientates and hooks
2. Body Paragraph 1	The youtube video of the factor.
3. Body Paragraph 2	I was disappointed that I was not picked. But  I was happy because of the revolting food Mr goodwin bringed in. Explain how they felt and how I felt.
4. Body Paragraph 3	It was explained dugustling before eaten. How everyone watched them eat it. I found out it was not real.
5. Conclusion	What I think about the fear factor challenge

In writing this week, I learnt that when planning writing it is good to plan the whole thing not one by one. It might nolt work for you, but it works for me. The top writing below the WALT is the introduction to the whole writing. The rest is the planning for the rest of the writing.

Immersion Introduction (Term two)

Introduction

Have you ever been handed food by a teacher, at assembly? During assembly this morning, if you were sitting up you could get food from teachers and prefects which they were making at the front of the stage. Read on to find out what else happened.

This week in writing, we have been learning about writing a introduction with hook and orientation. One of our tasks was to mark somebody else introduction based on the rubric above. Venetia marked my introduction and I think that she marked my introduction with threes because it wasn't really really interesting, but it was interesting enough to get a three.
