I read this book last term but I am posting it now. I still remember it like I read it yesterday. This books came me the shivers, and sometimes in class I would gasp because something amazing happen in the story. It was a mystery from the time the boy was introduced. If you haven't read the book try to find online or at your local library.

Well my class have and we thought we would try to create a new one. I think that if someone had to design a new logo, it will not be me.

20 Hour Famine 2015!

On Friday last week on the twenty second of may, I started the 20 hour famine with the extension group. The extension group of 2015, did the 20 hour famine. We all did the challenge with no food for 20 hours. We had a sleep over so we can do the 20 hour famine with some one and have fun instead of thinking of food.

I think it is a great thing that we did this because we can help the people in Bangladesh and collect money for them so they can live the same way we do instead of them living on the edge of the road. To help the people in the world who have nothing and sleep nowhere near where we sleep. If you can, try and help the people all around the world who don't have what we do.

Well I was doing the 20 hour famine, I was really thinking how much I am doing and how much other people are doing the 40 or 20 hour famine. We were doing this for the people who don't have much and need money. We are getting the money and giving it to them so they can eat healthy and live like us. When I was doing the 20 hour famine, I also was thinking about how I could help a whole family eat. I think it's not fair that they do not get the options that we have and not just for food. That's why I joined the 20 hour famine for this year. I have raised money for family or family's in Bangladesh and I felt like I need to do this next year to raise money for the people who are suffering.

Sustainability

In Extension we have been learning about Hokulea. You might be thinking that this has nothing to do with Hokulea, but Hokulea really loves the environment and Extension thought that we could do something with the environment. We really want Hokulea to come to our school so try and help any way you can. I forgot to ask you if you know about Sustainability? If you don't know what does Sustainability means, Sustainability means taking care of the environment with the economy's help to and your help. This video will teach you show you an example of sustainability (most of the end).

Chicken Bones

Do you love K.F.C?   Don't you feel like eating right now? Well I'm going to tell you how to get some right now. 

Did I draw your attention? The text that you are going to read, is about a theory about Polynesians went to South America or if South Americans came to Polynesia. 

Chicken bones were used to find out if South Americans came to Polynesia, or if the Polynesians went to the South America. They also found out that the chickens came from Polynesians, then to South America. Radiocarbon date of the chicken bones are used to help find out about history. The people who study about this, are called archaeologist.
