Thinkboard - Week 9

WALT: Add decimals.


This week our think-board was based around adding decimals. I used the strategy of partitioning. Underneath this text is one example of this strategy being use. 
As you can see, I keep the first number the same and spilt the second number. I find this much more easy for subtracting and adding decimals.

Thinkboard - 1

WALT: Express remainders as decimals.




This has been hard to figure out but I finally finished and my friend Seini helped each other. One thing we really helped each other is the 10 other questions. The way I solved this was by partitioning bit by bit. I did it this way because I thought it was a easy way but I found another easier way. That is called algorithm. I will try to use this method more.
