Reading Diagram and Probability

WALT: Interpret information from different graphs.

Last week in maths I finished off this presentation. Basically each slide asks questions about the picture to the side. Read and answer was the instructions. I found this presentation not to be a learning thing but a reminder. A reminder of last year and past week's knowledge.

Statistical Literacy

WALT: Interpret information from a pie graph and bar graph.

This week in maths, we learnt about reading information through pie and bar graphs. I learnt that bar graph tells you the number and pie graph the percentage. A bar graph has a lines with the options at the bottom and amount of numbers on the side. Bar graph can also be shown a different way to what I shown. Pie graphs are in the shape of a circle and show shaded shapes in the pie graph. These 'shaded shapes' are the percentages. It kind of looks like a pie cut in pieces. I guess that's where it gets it name.
