Problem Solving-Week 7

WALT: Use fractions in different ways.

Task: Make a copy of the presentation. Complete the presentation with a friend. Remember to add in all of your working so that others my understand your solution.

In this problem solving, I have learnt that the number does not have to be big to be the largest fraction. For example 4/7 and 2/9. One way we can see which one is bigger, is by seeing that 2/9 would be cut into small pieces and 4/7 would be a bigger fraction. So 4/7 is the biggest fraction out of 4/7 and 2/9.
